Roksolana
Tchotchieva
... was born on Christmas Day in Vladikavkaz, Russia. Roksolana
is the third generation of artists in her family after her
Father and Grandfather. She was awarded her Masters Degree
of Fine Art by the V. I. Surikov State Academic Institute
of Fine Arts (Moscow) in 1996 and has since exhibited her
work in many countries including Spain, Italy, Germany,
Turkey, Russia and Canada. Roksolana has experience in a
wide variety of painting including oil, water color, acrylics
and pastel, and is an expert in monumental works including
mosaic, fresco and graffito. Her works feature in many private
collections throughout the world. Roksolana now lives in
Toronto, Canada. Member of the Association of Russian Artists
from former USSR in Canada, Member of Arts Richmond Hill,
Member of Russian Artists Union. |
Victoria
Berdichevsky
... born in Moscow, Russia, is a classically trained visual
artist. Her interest in Art began in her childhood when
her father, Vadim Klotts, an established Chief set designer
for the Maly Theatre in Moscow, began giving her art lessons.
Victoria's passion for art carved a path leading her to
a prestigious education. In 1980, she graduated from Surikov's
School of Fine Art, Moscow, Russia and later from the Moscow
Art Academy Theatre's University from which she graduated
with a Master's in Stage and Costume Design for Theatre
and Film. In the years following her graduation, Victoria
has established herself as a consummate professional of
fine portraiture and costume design. In 1989, Victoria moved
to Toronto where she continues to reside and work as an
artist. Besides her work in commissioned portraiture, Victoria
has illustrated children's books, and has been engaged in
designing costumes for some of Ontario's most renowned theatres.
With an extensive amount of experience and education in
art, Victoria now enjoys teaching and inspiring students
with her knowledge and skills. Victoria pushes the limits
of imagination and creativity with her students while exploring
new concepts and ideas in art. |
Tatiana
Cheremisinova
... was born in Moscow. She graduated from the Faculty of
Architecture at Moscow State University of Civil Engineering
in 1982. Then she spent a year studying sculpture, drawing
and painting at the creative studio of Oleg Yanovsky, a
professor at the Higher School of Art and a talented sculptor.
Tatiana took part in numerous exhibitions in Russia. Many
of her works have become part of private collections in
the U.K., Germany, Finland, Norway, Switzerland, and United
States.
In 1995 Tatiana began to teach private
painting and drawing classes, and in 2000 she opened a small
experimental studio for children and adults. In 2007, the
artist moved to Canada. In 2009 and 2010 Tatiana gave art
lessons at the YMCA in Toronto (42 Charles Street) while
continuing her own creative process. An exhibition of her
students' work took place in November 2010.
Cheremisinova draws mainly in ink and
oil pastels as well as painting in oils. The heroes and
symbols in her work often carry allegorical meaning. She
also discovered a new technique of working with India ink
and special polymer materials.
In December, 2010, a very successful exhibition
of Tatiana's work took place at the Bezpala-Brown Gallery
in Toronto. It was favorably reviewed in the Globe and Mail
(Dec. 18, 2010). |
Ana
Jurpik
... was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and raised in
the Seattle area of Washington State, U.S.A. She soon
discovered the ability to render at a very young age.
Throughout Ana’s adulthood, she searched out various
ways of expression, enrolling in classes ranging from
still life to life drawing, and experimenting with the
use of mediums from charcoal to sculpture to music. Ana's
studio is now located in Markham, north of Toronto, Ontario
in Canada.
She was one of the 25 selected Canadian artists who voyaged
to paint Greenland and the High Arctic in the summer of
2006, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the first explorer
to complete this journey. Her work is located in private
and corporate collections in Canada and the United States,
and in the Permanent Collection at the Vancouver Maritime
Museum and the City of Spoleto, Italy. To view Ana's work,

Margarita Kukhtina
... was born in Kursk, Russia. From early age she displayed
her artistic talent by painting in her teacher's studio,
who was a master od Old Russian academic style in Beaux
Art. In 1984 she was accepted to the prestigious Kharkov
Art Industrial Institute and, upon graduating was later
invited to join the staff of Orel College of Fine Art.
Since 1995 to 2002 she was working as a principal creation
of the great collection of pictures (over 120 giant oil
paintings) for Theme Park "Kings City" and The
Bible Museum in Israel. In 2002, she immigrated to Canada,
where she resumed working in Fine Art. Margarita's work
Is held in private collections in Israel, Germany, USA
and Canada.
Margarita's artistic style reflects her admiration for
Impressionism and Pre-Raphaelites. She captures nature's
beauty in her paintings that produces indelible impression
of chromatic skill.
